The July 2nd, 2021 CDC Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, a study regarding airborne transmission between occupants in a conference room provided further efficacy for the use of portable air cleaners. The conclusions stated that, “the use of masks without air cleaners reduced the aerosol exposure of the receivers by 72%, and the use of air cleaners without masks reduced the exposure by up to 65%.”
